The District council has elected chairpersons to chair its different standing committes, this was done during the 1st District council sitting for this District council.
The following committees were formed.
Finance Planning & Administration Standing Committee

3.Kamanda Fahad Member
4.Kamulegeya Yasin Member
5.Namatovu Hafuswah Member
6.Nakku Kevina Member
7.Namulondo Rehema Member
The Ministry of Health handed over the proposed site for the construction of the proposed Eye/ ENT unit and specialised diagnostic center in Kayunga hospital to the Arab Contractors Limited.
The project will cost ugs 4,498,927,361 billions.
According to the Project Manager from the Ministry of Health, the actual implementation of the project will take 10 months after the date of site posession.

A. Facilities at the Eye/ ENT
1. Consultation rooms
2.Inpatients wards with atleast 30 beds
Kayiira Joel who was the District Vice chairperson received instruments of power which included the office stamp, LG Act cap 243, Finance and Accounting Regulations, the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda , the keys for the office and the official vehicle of the District Chairperson among others.
The technical staff took stoke of the available items in the office which where provided to the Chairperson in the presence of the Internal Auditor Mr. Segonga Abbas who witnessed the function.
